My kid puts his heart and soul in everything he does. His passion is baseball and he would do it 24 hrs a day. He is the kindest teenager.

I think Evan loves that there is so much excitement in the options during this game. He truly understands ahead of a play the outcomes and can analyze which is best for each situation. Predicting the outcome of his choices in a split second is not only exciting but super challenging, though he doesn’t always perfectly choose he can see the benefits and weigh his options instantaneously. This is what I think makes his love of this sport never wane.
His Dad shares his passion for baseball, and he always weighs in with him on his trials and triumphs. His Dad will always by far be his biggest fan. He has recently found a coach who also lifts him up and encourages to strive for more each and everyday.
Even though he seems to be one of the strongest on the field usually, he recently was incredibly disappointed by not making a very important team. He handled this disappointment with grace, strength and poise. Not what you expect from a 14 yr old let alone anyone who had a devastating let down in a plan that didn’t have a detour in consideration. Evan was able to see the positive in the situation and immediately devise a new direction to complete his goal of making this team next time.
