Ezra loves football because it challenges him to be his best—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Since he started playing tackle football at age 8, he’s been drawn to the energy, discipline, and teamwork the game demands. What he loves most is being on the field—completely focused, pushing himself, and doing what he’s passionate about. Football gives him a sense of purpose. He thrives on the hard work, the long practices, and the constant drive to improve.
Ezra is inspired by his parents and Coach O. His parents have always supported his love for football, teaching him the value of hard work and perseverance. Coach O, who coached him in his final year of youth football, believed in Ezra and pushed him to grow as both a player and a person. That season taught him confidence, discipline, and the importance of believing in himself. Both his parents and Coach O continue to motivate him on and off the field.
One moment in Ezra’s athletic journey that stands out most is his final youth football season with Coach O. The year before, his team didn’t win a single game, but Ezra stayed committed. With Coach O’s leadership, they went undefeated and won the Super Bowl. Weeks later, Ezra was selected as one of the players to represent Coachella Valley in the East vs. West Desert Elite Showcase. Winning a second ring showed how far hard work, resilience, and belief can take you.
