What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Everything! He is 12 years old and lives for racing. If he can’t be at the track, he is on iRacing or some form of simulated racing, watching it on tv, and sometimes even makes his own stop motion races. Ezra has been in love with racing since he was 4 and started racing when he was 5. He loves the intensity and competitiveness of the sport.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ezra is inspired by many drivers, current and past, and from different disciplines of racing.A few would be Lewis Hamilton,Kyle Larson,Kevin Harvick,Pato O’ward,Rico Abreu,and Jeff Gordon.He appreciates their drive and determination to be the best.He is also inspired by his dad,who knew nothing about race cars or racing,in general,but has learned as much as he can to keep Ezra competitive.He works hard to afford what we can to try to make Ezra’s dreams a reality.His work ethic is inspiring.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

He won a championship in one class and came in 2nd in another, in 2020, after he was targeted and had everything going against him. He never gave up and proved himself. Every time he goes out and gives it his all and we can tell he’s using his brain to work things out, it makes us proud.
