“I love how fast the game moves, how we all have to work together as a team, and how every game feels like a brand-new challenge. It’s never boring because there’s always something different happening. Playing lets me be myself and try my hardest. I like pushing myself to do better, even when it’s tough. I also really enjoy the energy I feel when I’m on the court. It’s exciting to hear the crowd, play with my teammates, and just be part of something fun and competitive.”
“My Coach inspires me. Someone else who inspires me is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander because he is incredibly consistent. He wasn’t one of the top recruits in high school, but he worked hard, improved his game, and earned his way to the University of Kentucky. Through dedication and determination, he continued to grow and eventually became one of the top players in the NBA. Most recently, he led his team to win an NBA Finals, which shows how far he’s come and how hard work can lead to success.”
The one moment that made us proud was his winning the MVP twice. Since he started playing, we have watched him grow and get better at basketball. We have watched him make mistakes and learn from them. “One moment I’m really proud of was leading my team to a big comeback win in Colation game 2025 against Legacy Titans. I was making shots and encouraged my teammates.”
