What Finlee loves most about playing his sports is that he gets better every time he plays. He likes pushing himself and seeing how much he can improve!
Finlee is inspired by his coaches because they help guide him and push him to be his best both on and off the field. He also looks up to Jackson Holliday, who shows him what’s possible with hard work and determination. Seeing someone like Jackson succeed motivates Finlee to chase his own dreams and believe that one day, he could be playing on that same field too.
The moment in Finlee’s athletic journey that makes me the proudest is when he pushed himself in his second year of wrestling to become the Maryland State Futures Champion in his weight division. He worked so hard, stayed focused, and never gave up—even when things got tough. Watching him reach that goal was an unforgettable moment.
