She loves her teammates, and her coaches! She loves learning new skills, going to sports camps and connecting with other players and having fun! She loves being in the rink and feeling like home!
Her teammates- they all bring different skills and talents to the rink, she looks up to all of them as they are all different. This is her time, her time to shut everything off and just have fun playing the sport she loves. Finley also encourages everyone to join in no matter what level others play.
When she did try outs few years back and she was the least dressed with equipment and just wearing leggings, skates, gloves, helmet and a sweater and she was the slowest skater and least skilled about the sport. A year later looking back- with 2 practice a week and a game on the weekend 5 long months, her coaches believing in her and helped her on skills. She’s now an amazing skater and ringette player today! She turned a 180 degrees and I never thought she would get there that fast! She did it
