He has been skiing since he was 2 years old , and is inspired by learning new tricks and striving to be the best at what he does . He is the team leader in his group and loves helping the younger kids progress. He has had the chances to ski with some of the adults that are the top athletes in the world in the Freeride World Tour and take a lot of inspiration from them. He aims to be competing with them in the next few years !
He is inspired by the people he plans on competing against in the best few years . And also his coaches who inspire him to be the best he can be on and off the snow , and dryland training facilities.
Every day on snow is a day of progress . At summer training camp at Mt Hood a few weeks ago , he landed for the first time , a trick he has been working on for a few years - a DubCork 1080 ! A trick that 99% of athletes his age ( and older! ) cannot complete!
