Forrest loves the competition and the communion of the sport! He enjoys being out on the field with the boys & competing at all different levels! He can & will absolutely play any position on that field, giving his all & having fun with the team!
His father is his drive & inspiration. They have been working together (sometimes practicing daily) since Forrest was 6 years old. To this day, they still work together weekly to improve Forrest’s skills. His father has spent so much time with him regarding this sport & I know Forrest appreciates it greatly. This is what it’s all about!
Outside of his home runs/grand slams, my proudest moments in his baseball journey have been to see him close out tough games! My boy is an amazing pitcher, but not just any pitcher, a CLOSER. He has been pulled into many do or die situations, in which the game depended upon him shutting it down for the win. He handles the pressure well & has done this on numerous occasions. As stressful as it is to watch as a parent, it makes me so proud of my boy & the weight he’s able to carry for his team!
