What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Gabriel's passion for competing at the highest level in sports showcases his LOVE, dedication and resilience. Football demands teamwork, strategy, and physical endurance; wrestling sharpens his individual skills, discipline, and mental toughness; while Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu challenges him to think critically and adapt to opponents' moves. Each of these sports presents unique challenges that require not only physical strength but also mental acuity. He embraces these challenges wholehearted.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jesus inspires my son Gabriel, both on and off the field. He has always looked to his faith for guidance and strength. It brings him an incredible sense of purpose, motivating him to work hard and persevere, no matter the challenges he faces. Whether he's training for a game or engaging with his teammates, you can see the positive influence of his beliefs shining through. Throughout his journey, Gabriel often reflects on the teachings and love of Jesus, using them as a foundation.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments is witnessing my son grow both athletically and spiritually. While it's impressive to see him excel in all the sports he plays and excel in school, what truly fills me with pride is his ability to overcome adversity and face challenges head-on. It's not always about the victories or trophies; it's about the character he builds along the way. Watching him embrace obstacles, learn from setbacks, and maintain a positive attitude is a true testament. Glory to God!
