What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Gabriel loves playing the physical game and the mental one. His baseball IQ is amazing and he is constantly strategizing the next potential play(s). He also enjoys making plays (even just an assist) so he feels like he contributed as a teammate.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Fernando Tatis Jr. He is a great hitter, plays his position in the outfield, which sometimes can be looked at as an inferior position at his age.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment is when he was pitching and one of his pitches hit a kid the first time. He ran over to the kid asked if he was okay and gave him a fist bump. Have good sportsmanship is sometimes more valuable than being a good athlete.
