Receive Text UpdatesWhat Gabriel loves most about playing sports is the energy, the challenge, and the way it brings people together. Football helped him find his confidence—he was once scared to play quarterback, but with encouragement, he gave it a shot and never looked back. Now he leads with pride. In basketball, he trains hard to improve every day. Whether it’s making a play or building friendships, sports light a fire in him that nothing else can.
Gabriel says his mom inspires him on and off the field. He has watched her work so hard as a single mom, finish college, and chase her dreams no matter what. She’s overcome so much and never gave up. Her dedication, strength, and love show him what it means to push through tough times. Seeing everything she’s done makes him want to work hard, lead with heart, and be the best version of himself every day—on the field and in life.
The proudest moment in Gabriels athletic journey he says was throwing his first touchdown pass. He was nervous to play quarterback at first, but once he got the chance, he stepped up—and it changed everything. That moment gave him confidence and showed he could lead. His family says they are most proud of how he pushed through his fear and grew into a strong leader. He kept going, kept working, and now he believes in himself more than ever. “I can do hard things, we all can!”
