What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves the discipline that comes with basketball. She has always loved the challenge that it has given her. She isn’t tall only 5 feet 2 inches tall, but when she wanted to quit she pushed herself to stay with it.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My Dad inspires me everyday. He may not play sports but he pushes everyday to provide for our family. We may not live in a big fancy house or drive brand new vehicles but we never want for anything. He is the one that I get my drive to give myself 110%.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When Gabriella started she couldn’t even make a free throw. The day that she made her first 3 point shot made me proud cause she beamed with joy. I knew then she accomplished something she thought was impossible.
