Gabby loves the sport of track and field because it allows her to bond with her teammates, travel to new places, face new challenges and experience the thrill of winning medals. The friendships, adventure, and sense of accomplishment keeps Gabby motivated in the sport.
Gabby is inspired by her parents, whose love, belief, and constant motivation drive her both on and off the track. Their unwavering support pushes her to reach her full potential. Additionally, the challenge of proving people wrong—especially when they doubt what she can do or who she can beat—fuels her determination to keep pushing forward to strive for greatness.
One of our proudest moments as parents has been watching Gabby achieve incredible success through her God-given talent and hard work. She is now a two-time Illinois state champion in the 200m dash, a remarkable accomplishment on its own. But this year, she went even further — being named the 2025 Athlete of the Meet for Class 4A 8th Graders by the Illinois Elementary School Association. At her 8th grade graduation, Gabby received the Jerry Colangelo Award. We are proud parents.
