Receive Text UpdatesShe loves the competition. She enjoys being around her friends and teammates. She has always said that playing sports helps her in school because you have to be able to adjust and react while playing sports to beat your opponents and it’s the same with school work. You have to be able to make adjustments to figure out the correct answer.
Gabby has always been self motivated. She does not like to lose in sports or school. If someone gets a higher grade than her she’s going to study harder to make sure she beats them next time. Same in sports, if she loses at some thing she’s going to work harder to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Her fear of failure is what pushes her to be the best.
Since she started playing sports she has always been a starter in basketball and soccer. Her junior year she knew in basketball she would be a back up for the first time with 2 seniors ahead of her. Not once did she ever complain or pout. She supported the team and was ready anytime her number was called to play.
