Gage is the athlete of the year because he puts all his time and effort into being the best he can be as well as the best teammate & leader.

Gage loves playing with his team, he loves having fun & getting to do the team building events especially hotel tournaments he said. Gage likes to play hard & is constantly striving to do his best. You can often see him in conversations with his coaches asking for feedback or advice/clarify to nail down a new skill/drill. He loves when his team mates have achievements too, he is a loud cheerer. He loves to master a new skill and accomplishments like a huge win at a tournament or making a team.
Connor McDavid has always been his #1 he even shares his number in lacrosse and hockey. He is his inspiration because he is really fast but also is a leader. He notices how much hard work and time Connor has put into his career and recognizes that it is not easy work and he will have to do his best each and every time he hits the floor or ice.
This is not one specific moment that is my proudest, its every game either lacrosse or hockey. No matter what the score is Gage is the first one to run to his goalie every time and give them a pat on the helmet. Gage does not sulk or take his time he makes sure he is there telling them what a good job they have done, he truly is a good teammate.
