He loves the feeling of being part of something bigger than himself. He loves that baseball pushes him to be better every day. He enjoys the grind—the small improvements, the tough practices, and the satisfaction that comes from hard work paying off. He values the lessons baseball teaches—like patience, resilience, and how to handle failure with grace and keep pushing forward.
His family inspires him. He has a lot of great role models to look up to.
What really sets Gage apart is who he is off the field. He encourages his teammates, leads with humility, and shows respect to coaches, umpires, and opponents. He’s the kind of player who cheers loudest for others, picks up teammates when they’re down, and sets an example without needing the spotlight. He doesn’t just play the game, he loves it, and that love inspires the people around him. His attitude, effort, and sportsmanship make him a role model to young players and leader among his peers.
