What my son loves most about playing sports is the joy of being part of a team and the excitement of the game itself. He loves the challenge pushing himself to get better, learning new skills, and seeing his hard work pay off. He especially enjoys the friendships he builds with his teammates and the feeling of accomplishment after a great play or a hard-fought game. Most of all, he just loves having fun, being active, and doing something that makes him feel proud and confident.
My son is inspired both on/off the field by his coaches & his family. His coaches push him to do his best, always encouraging him to work hard stay focused, and never give up even when things get tough. Off the field, he looks up to his family, especially his parents, who support him at every game and teach him the importance of dedication, kindness, & believing in himself. He also admires professional athletes who play with heart & humility showing him what it means to be a good person & player
One moment in my son’s athletic journey that makes me proudest was when his team was down in a tough game, instead of getting discouraged, he stepped up as a leader. He encouraged his teammates, stayed positive, & gave his best effort until the very last out. Even though they didn’t win, he showed incredible heart, sportsmanship, and maturity beyond his years. Seeing him lift others up & play w/determination made me prouder than any trophy ever could it showed me the kind of person he’s becoming
