Gavin doesn't just play, he becomes a living part of the game. Win or lose, Gavin takes with him renewed focus and effort he uses both on and off the field. His energy and sportsmanship is inspiring, making it a joy to watch him play.
Gavin finds inspiration from his parents Eric and Sue. Having had his own successes, Eric has instilled in Gavin that only in learning solid basics and fundamentals first will he find success. They have taught Gavin that TEAM is first, and inspires in Gavin to give his best for his team, and to "leave it all on the field." Respect, commitment, talent and sportsmanship is what Eric and Sue inspires in Gavin. All that, and love of the game
With so many accomplishments Gavin has achieved, it is hard to pick. My proudest moment would be watching the determination of his Little League team, dubbed "The Boys of Summer" beat all odds and make it into the Little Leage World Seiries. It was an incredible journey! Watching Gavin standing in the field, pitching in the Little League World Series is a memory I will cherish forever.
