Mari loves the challenge and satisfaction of shutting receivers down. He’s really good at breaking up passes, intercepting the ball, and oh man he can hit! He's also physical, strong and able to read routes and react quickly. He’s a well rounded athlete!
Mari is inspired by my oldest son & our friend Dominique Rodgers Cromartie who played CB for 11 years. He still watches his videos and runs track to keep his speed up. He hopes to be as fast as DRC and go pro like him one day. My oldest son is a WR and heading to college in a few days to play football and gain his Bachelors in Kinesiology. He wants to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy and open his own practice. Mari & Juice workout a lot especially since one is a WR, and the other is a DB.
I’m proud of Mari for being locked in and super focused. He just finished his last year of middle school and heads to 9th grade in August. He’s been talking about his goals and I’m admired by his growth. He’s getting taller, stronger, faster, and has improved tremendously in the classroom. I’m excited to see him grow and I know Mari will be the best at what he does. He spends time outside of practice perfecting his craft with a personal trainer. He has it all together and will be the greatest!
