Ghamdan has been in this sport since he was a little baby. He loves the teamwork, passion, and the joy of scoring many goals.Being on the field helps him stay focused on his goal, confident, and connected to his teammates who always celebrate with him after each time he scores.He enjoys competing while always improving and learning.
His biggest inspiration is his brother, Wahbi, and his coach Mohamed Alrayyashi, who taught him sportsmanship, discipline, hard work, and humility. He has moved from being a regular player to a leader on and off the field.
Watching Ghamdan go undefeated for three straight varsity seasons at Salina Intermediate School while earning Top Scorer and MVP was incredible. He has scored at least a goal on all three finals. Seeing him respected by all his teammates and coaches anywhere he plays makes me very happy. Even more inspiring was seeing him coach younger players with heart and patience. He is always ready to go out 4 days a week so he can coach the young kids in the MYSA Youth Soccer organization.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
