What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The most valuable reward from martial arts is the many ways of learning character development. Self discipline, dedication, vision and a determined heart posture is definitely her favorite thing.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Her dad, who started martial arts at the age of eight, is for sure her inspiration. Starting martial arts at the age of five, she cherishes the time and passion her and her dad share for the world of martial arts. Her favorite martial artist (other than her dad lol) is Bill “superfoot” Wallace. The world champion kick boxer. Who happened to sign her foot gear a few weeks back!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It’s hard to choose one single moment with Grace because she truly inspires us as her parents everyday. If I had to choose one characteristic of hers to highlight it would be her kindness and genuine heart for people. We get to see that on and off the mats. Her faith is evident in how she responds to competition, regardless of the situation she’s in.
