There was a time when I struggled with my mental game. I've learned that the mental aspect is just as important as your skills. I am proud of myself for recognizing that sports are filled with a series of errors and that I need to accept those and continue to do my best. Making the All State Florida team, being named team captain and MVP, and making it to nationals for volleyball makes me proud because I overcame mental battles and supported my team in leadership and skill.
