What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Even playing field, deaf or hearing, same on the mat. Hard work, dedication, focus. G would rather watch live wrestling on TV than play outside just to watch and learn

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

All those that paved the way before her. Sabrina Nauss, Tyler Swanigan, Antonia Phillips, Roger Stewart, Matt Hamill. She wants to inspire other girls & deaf kids, let them know they can do anything even wrestle

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Winning at the State tournament and the table help didn’t realize she was deaf till after she took off headgear. She said deaf girls wrestle too.
