What I love most about my sport is the confidence it has taught me. It’s a rush whether your on the stage at UCA Nationals or on a football field or in your small town’s gymnasium. It’s truly a full circle moment for me. I was the little girl at ballgames watching the cheerleaders and mimicking every move they made in hopes to one day be just like them.
My inspiration in cheerleading is my coaches and the older cheerleaders on my team because they are always willing to help out confidently with anyone who is willing to put in the effort. I look up to every cheerleader I see, rather if its on the big stage at Disney or a Friday night on the football field.
Honestly just to name a few… seeing all the blood , sweat, and tears out into a competition and then seeing her and her teammates hit hit Zero. But my proudest moment is seeing her and her team come together and help our small town from daylight to dark when a Tornado hit killing 20 + people and destroying our small town. On and off the mat cheerleading has taught her Compassion and strength and learned her to never give up, even in the darkest times.
