Thank you for generously supporting Grant in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Grant loves the thrill of competition, the challenge of pushing himself to improve, and the friendships he builds with his teammates. He enjoys learning new skills, celebrating big plays, and bouncing back from tough moments. Whether he’s hitting a home run, scoring a touchdown, or earning a new stripe on his belt in jujitsu, he simply loves being active, having fun, and giving his all every time he plays.
Grant is inspired by his parents, who always support him and teach him the value of hard work and character. He has several family members that were former D1 athletes that motivate him to chase big dreams. On the field, he looks up to several pro baseball players, for his talent and dedication. Their examples remind Grant to stay focused, stay humble, and never give up; on or off the field.
One of my proudest moments was when Grant hit two home runs in a high-stakes playoff game, helping lead his team to a come from behind victory. His focus, confidence, and ability to rise under pressure showed just how much he’s grown as an athlete. He didn’t just play hard, he inspired his teammates to believe in themselves and finish strong.
