Thank you for generously supporting Grayson in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Being with his teammates, continuing to learn the game and taking what he learns on the field into his everyday life.
CJ Abrams of the Washington Nationals. Grayson has watched him come up through the league since his draft out of high school. As a young public figure he shows how hard work and intensity can get you to the top. Since Grayson was 5 years old he’s always talked about playing at a high level and continuously emulates CJ’s craft at shortstop. Off the field Grayson uses that effort to support his teammates, his family and his friends, proving that hard work and drive can elevate you.
Grayson was knocked out of his starting role and you could tell he felt defeated. Instead of buckling and just taking a back seat, he continued to work and become better. It wasn’t too long before he got his spot back and has held it. Even though there was a position battle, Grayson always supported his teammate and shortly after they began working together. As a 12 year old, to see that growth and competitive process, i knew he was going to be special.
