He loves the energy, the grind, and the bond with his teammates. It’s like a second family. Being on that field clears his mind and makes him feel like he is exactly where he is supposed to be.
His dad inspires him the most. He’s the one who pushes him , shows up for every game, and always reminds him that nothing comes without hard work. His dad has been through a lot, and seeing how he carries himself motivates him to be better not just on the field but also off the field.
The proudest moment was when our son helped lead the inner-city team all the way to the championship and we won. A lot of people didn’t expect us to get that far, but we did and he motivated his team mates and a way I have never seen. Those games had us ready for Saturdays and sundays .
