Ja Morant inspires him because he was sort of short and it didn’t look like he’d be successful. Then he had a growth spurt, started working extra hard and now look at him. “I know it took a lot of work but I’m ready and willing to do what it takes.”
To be honest, I’m always proud of him when he tries and keeps pushing even if it doesn’t look like things are in his favor. Recently, he made MVP after a tournament and that made me very proud. It was unexpected, which made it even better. He’s been working on his game and it’s starting to pay off.
