What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves the community of softball and baseball. She enjoys not only the focus and drive that is required to play the sport but the friendship and family she picks up along the way. She is very dedicated and has drive for everything she does. She loves being able to play multiple positions and helping out in any position she’s put. Pitching and catching is her passion, but she will gladly jump into a second base or third base position if need be. She strives to be better then her best all times

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Her biggest inspiration is Jesus, her brother Royce, her mom, and Aaron Judge. Royce has played baseball his whole life and she looks up to him as a role model. She loves the Yankees and one day hopes to have the greatest batting average just like Aaron Judge. She says her mom playing her whole life and helping to coach her gives her the love and support she needs to push harder. Without Jesus nothing is possible, he allows her to show up everyday and gives her the strength to push herself

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Last season Hailee broke her collarbone, she finished 30 minutes of a game with a broken bone and we had no idea. She then came back to play a 5 game tournament in a sling as catcher, so her team didn’t forfeit. They won undefeated the whole tournament. She never gives up and always gives 110% no matter if she’s feeling at her best or not. She never shows it, instead continues to give it her all and cheer her team on.
