Hailey love the challenge of pushing her limits. She loves the friendships, the fun of team meets, and the excitement of beating her own times. She loves practicing and meets, because they're oppotunities for her to grow stronger.
Hailey is inspired by her parents, who always encouraged her to be her own person and never just follow the crowd. That support helped her dive into swimming with confidence and purpose. In the water, she looks up to strong, successful women like Simone Manuel, Simone Biles, and Gretchen Walsh—athletes who broke barriers, stayed true to themselves, and proved that greatness comes from believing in your own path. They remind her that anything is possible.
One of our proudest moments of Hailey wasn’t just her personal best or qualifying for State—it was her heart. After her race, she watched her teammate swim a breaststroke event, who didn’t make finals. Instead of celebrating her own success, Hailey said, “I wish I could’ve swum the breaststroke for her so we could’ve gone to finals together.” That selflessness showed her true character: a talented swimmer who cares deeply for her team.
