Hallie is inspired by her grandfather, who recently lost his battle with leukemia. Known for his toughness and unwavering positivity, he faced every challenge with a smile and lifted others up even in his hardest moments. He was her biggest supporter, both on and off the field, and his strength continues to motivate her every day.
In the championship game against our biggest rival, the match came down to a shootout. I stepped into the goal and blocked enough shots to help secure the win. The moment we celebrated together and received our medals, seeing the pure joy on my teammates’ faces, was one of the proudest and most unforgettable moments of my life.
