What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

So many amazing things come from participating in sports. One of the many great things that come from playing the sports that Harper loves is the friendships that she has made with so many people that will last a lifetime. She loves that when she falls teammates are always there to pick her up and cheer her on.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The fact that Simone Biles has been so successful in spite of lacking her biological parents influence is truly inspiring being the fact that Harper does not know her biological father. Harper has a diagnosis of ADHD and knowing that Simone Biles also has the diagnosis has been so inspiring making her feel that she is not alone .

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I was the proudest at a State meet when I saw Harper showing amazing sportsmanship congratulating the 1st place winner as she proudly accepted 2nd. She is and will always be 1st place in my heart as long as she’s having fun and and displays good sportsmanship!
