Per Harper: My dad inspires me because he is a really good coach. He was also a multi sport athlete with many similar interests as me. He has taught me that mistakes happen but you learn from them and continue to put in the work to do better. My Dad always gave it his best and if knocked down would get back up.
There are many moments that make me proud whether it is a goal or basket, an assist on the field or court, an over-the-fence home run, catch or RBI but what makes me most proud is when bystanders compliment her character during a game. Often, I am stopped by other parents who tell me how fun she is to watch and that makes me happy too.
