Hawksley has been inspired by LeBron James for a few years now. When Hawksley first took interest in basketball LeBron James was who Hawksley would watch to try and get better.
One moment that makes me most proud of Hawksley’s athletic journey thus far would be setting his goal to be Junior Athlete of the Year in his new school this year. He was awarded MVP in basketball, MVP in Track and Field and Most Improved in soccer which led him to Junior Athlete of the Year. His dedication to his teams and himself is very admirable.
