What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Hayden loves that jiujitsu pushes him to grow physically and mentally. Every roll is a chance to test not just technique, but patience, humility, and resilience. It's a sport where size and strength doesn't always win, and where problem-solving and calm under pressure truly shine. What makes it unique is the community, a family built on mutual respect, where even opponents help each other improve. It's not just about winning. It's about improving yourself with every roll.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The person who inspires Hayden the most is his dad and coach Derek. Derek introduced Hayden to Jiujitsu taking him to train at different gyms in the area, coaching him in tournaments, and even opening his own jujitsu gym which is now their home gym. Derek has taught and guided Hayden and supported him through every win and loss.
