Haylee loves the intensity and dedication it takes to play softball and strives to always get better. She also loves the unbreakable bonds made over the years.
Her coach/trainer John Melges, has always pushed her to strive for excellence and to always strive to get better and never give up. I believe he coaches and trains them for greatness and to never accept mediocrity. John has taken the time to do this while dealing with his own health issues off the field and I truly believe this has inspired Haylee to push even harder.
Its very difficult to pick one moment in Haylee's journey as she is headed into her senior year of high school, but over all I would say her ability to fit in to any team and accept and build friendships with other players in very short order. The game only last so long but friendships can last a lifetime.
