I have a couple reasons why I love softball first of all it challenges me physically and mentally. This part of the game teaches me life lessons that I will use for the rest of my life. Second it gives me a family that I didn’t know I needed. The people that I’m surrounded by show me what it’s truly like to be a team. Playing with them just makes the game so much better and much more fun! Lastly this sport opens so many doors for me to showcase my talent and to further my education.
My family inspires me on and off the field. They have always been there for me taking me to tournaments, practices,lessons and much more. They are all I could ever ask for and all I ever need.
When transferring to a new school, Heidi had to sit out a year from playing varsity. She was able to play JV but she still played like she was on the varsity team. Teaching the younger girls and encouraging them to give it their all. And then of course Heidi made the 5th Region Area Player of the Year.
