Thank you for generously supporting Hudson in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Hudson loves pushing his limits, racing the clock, and seeing how far he can go—literally. What he loves most about track and field is the personal challenge. Every race is a chance to beat his best, thrive under pressure, and feel the freedom of flying down the track with nothing holding him back.
Hudson is most inspired by his dad, who leads by example—showing him the power of discipline, resilience, and staying humble through it all. He also draws strength from his mom, whose constant support, encouragement, and belief in him remind him to stay confident and focused, no matter the challenge. Together, they’ve taught him what it means to show up, work hard, and lead with heart—on and off the track.
As his mom, I’ve had so many proud moments—but seeing Hudson named Athlete of the Year brought tears to my eyes. It wasn’t just about the award; it was about everything behind it—the early mornings, the setbacks, the quiet determination. Then came the track and field ceremony, where he was recognized for breaking multiple records, including one from 1984 in triple jump. Hearing his name called and seeing the look on his face—full of pride, but still humble—was a moment I’ll carry in my heart for
