Receive Text UpdatesI love the game atmosphere: the environment, the friends, the sportsmanship, the competition, and the memories. My coaches have always been supportive and feel like family.
I never forget or take for granted how I used to not be able to run or keep up with other kids my age. My determination and hard work in physical therapies have allowed me to beat the odds. My mom took me to every appointment, cheered me on and never let me think I couldn't accomplish anything I put my mind to. My stepdad, Scott, has supported my softball journey and practiced softball drills with me since 8U.
My first ever out of the park home run is my proudest memory. It was during a 12U game I was subbing on another team and I hit it straight out of the park through centerfield. I didn't realize it was out at first but once I saw it was, I came across home plate to the whole team cheering. I ran straight to my parents and my stepdad picked me up, we were all cheering and crying. It will forever be a core memory.
