What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Hunter‘s favorite part of the game is his team. All of his teammates have been together for a few years now and they have built a strong bond.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Hunter began playing baseball at the age of eight, encouraged by his Grammy, who was a passionate fan of the game. Although he was initially hesitant, he agreed to play. From the very first game he was hooked. Baseball quickly became more than just a sport for him, it became a source of joy, confidence and connection. Sadly, Hunter’s Grammy passed away in 2022 after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. Hunter plays in her memory, carrying her love for the game every time he plays.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Watching Hunter pitch is what makes me the proudest! Watching him step on the mound with a calm demeanor during an intense games is wonderful to watch.
