Wrestling has become his passion, where he finds resilience in the face of adversity. On the mat, his determination remains unwavering, and he consistently strives to transform setbacks into comebacks.
Ian's father is one of his big motivators in wrestling something they have in common besides fishing , as we stand by Ian's Dad side during his recent diagnosis we are promoting awareness about the need of athlete physicals. Ian has made a goal to inspire others to not give up even when facing difficult times.
Every time Ian enters the wrestling mat, I feel overwhelming pride, knowing the myriad obstacles he faces daily. He demonstrates outstanding sportsmanship, consistently greeting opponents and coaches with a handshake or hug, win or lose. Ian's philosophy is 'we don't lose, we learn.' Each match is a building block to the next, and he tackles every competition with enthusiasm and a commitment to his goals
