Io is a hardworking athlete that knows what it takes to succeed. He practices and exercises everyday even outside of baseball season.

Io loves that baseball is a team sport but he can grow as an individual athlete. He is accountable of his game play and strives to uplift his team.
Io is inspired by not only the older kids he plays with, but both his mom and step dad who keep him reminded of what he is capable of.
Io has played many positions but he is the most confident when he is pitching. One tournament we played in AZ in Spring 2025, Io showed everyone what he was capable of as a young pitcher. The score was 0-0, 3-4 innings in. That was until a rolling foul ball was grabbed by Io, allowing a player to make it to 1st base. After that mistake, points were scored and we were eliminated. Io knew exactly what had cost them the game and we use it as a teachable moment in his baseball career.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
