What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Ireland loves team sports because she loves being part of a group working towards a common goal. She values the friendships she makes since they're all into the same things. She thrives on a challenge! Ireland loves pushing herself and always wants to be better than she was last time. Her biggest competition is herself, and that keeps her motivated and excited about doing what she loves! It’s all about sharing the journey and cheering each other on!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ireland has been inspired by her cheer coaches since she was 8. Especially Madie, Lex, Azaria and Jovi. She says they've always believed in me and pushed me to be my best, not just in cheer but in life. Their love for the sport and the way they support everyone made me want to be just like them. Now that I'm coaching too, I want to help younger kids feel that same confidence and excitement. I learned my passion for cheer from them, and I hope I can pass that on to others too.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was when Ireland broke her hand. Even though she couldn’t compete, she never missed a practice—for her cheer team or her school teams. She stayed positive, cheering on her teammates from the sidelines and helping however she could. It was tough for her to sit out, but she showed such heart and leadership. She became the ultimate cheerleader’s cheerleader, she lifted others up and showed that being a great teammate isn’t just about performing.
