Izzy started wrestling 2 years ago as a sophomore and has shown incredible growth, attending various camps and off season practices.

Wrestling has taught Izzy discipline and strength. It has helped her to overcome obstacles, and to try new things. She has had the chance to meet Olympic athlete Kennedy Blades while attending a camp at the University of Iowa this year. She also traveled to Ireland to wrestle in The Irish open. Izzy struggles with adhd and since she has started wrestling, she is able to channel her energy in a positive way.
Izzy is inspired by the girls who blazed the trail before her- whether it’s team mates from previous seasons, college athletes she has wrestled with at camp, and Olympic Wrestlers who have made a name for themselves.
In her second year of wrestling Isabella placed in sectionals. Watching her practice and continue to put the work in has been inspiring to watch. Each goal she reaches drives her to achieve more.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
