Receive Text UpdatesIsaiah loves playing baseball because it’s fun and challenging, which pushes him to work hard to be the best he can be as a player and captain of his team. He can not get enough of improving every aspect of his game in hopes to display the hard work and talent when it matters the most.
The biggest inspiration for Isaiah are his parents. He puts in constant work outside of the team with his father and lives to make his mother proud on game days to hear her cheers that highly motivates him to perform at his highest level. Ronald Acuña Jr. also inspires him as a professional player. Watching him go through injuries and come back to be the heartbeat of the Atlanta Braves really shown him how much an individual can have impact and mean a lot to their team.
What makes me proudest is seeing Isaiah finally hit a homerun over the fence in a game. That was a huge goal of his for a long time. The way that he overcame adversity along the way and kept his head down to strive for his goal no matter what set backs he may have faced was astonishing to see. The effort and attitude he displays goes far beyond motivating himself and often reflects onto his peers. That leadership is something I truly admire from a kid his age.
