You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Jack says his favorite part of playing sports is being a part of a team. Jack loves getting together with his buds and building his friendships that come with being a part of a team. Not only does Jack love being a part of team sports, but he is a friend to all & the kid that many kids flock to because of his cheerful, funny, caring, and inclusive character.
When asked, Jack states that his parents inspire him. He says that his dad is always teaching him about his favorite sport and about things like the rules and stats. He says mom because she plays catch and practices with him and because she is strong and does everything at home on her own.
It’s a collection of moments, all compiling into Jack’s heart posture on the field. A narrative used to describe his sportsmanship: “Jack would be the kid about to score a touchdown & if an injury occurred to his opponent, he would forfeit a touchdown to check on them.” He may not be out there throwing points, but he would think beyond the field. The athlete that would help an opponent to their feet, stay after to help a teammate work on a skill, & be an encouragement in challenging times.
