Jackson has played several sports since he was a young child including wrestling, football, and baseball. Sports/team are everything to him

I love competing at high levels and growing as a team. I love how I can learn from my teammates and we support each other in highs and lows. Working together and the support I have on and off the field or wrestling mat has been helpful at school and day to day life. I know that my teammates are my second family and I always have a “brother” by my side when I need it.
My mom because she has always been there for me through thick and thin and has just always been in my corner even when I didn’t think I could do it anymore.
In 4th grade I got a bad concussion in wrestling and even though it was my number one sport at the time and my true love, I was too afraid to go back. I showed up to practices and I supported my team at meets, but I was unable to get in the right head space to come back and wrestle myself. Then I watch my friend wrestle at MNUSA and I wanted that too. The last year I could was in 6th grade and I made it to MNUSA state wrestling and almost made it to the podium. I was so proud of myself.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
