Jackson’s always been my social one, he loves making friends and his baseball friends are now considered family. Every year with every sport we always acquire one or more additions. Weather he is learning from them or teaching them his peers and working as a team is what drives him.
His mom, as a single mom she’s always put his love for the game first. Even with a long working day she tries her hardest to be at every game to root him on.
As a single mom working in health care it’s not always easy for me to afford all of the extra curricular activities or to get him to every practice and game. Jackson steps up every time to get the job done. He does all kinds of side jobs for family and friends to pitch in with costs, and with his baseball family always finds a way to get himself to games and practice if I can’t. He genuinely desires to be out there on the field!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
