What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love the game of football because it’s somewhere I get to exert the pent up energy from everything else during the week. I believe every one of us has things that build up throughout the week, at home, school, work, anywhere. The football field is where I get to work it out. I’ve played for rough coaches. Ive played seasons with broken bones in casts. I've played through conditions that would make most people quit. I love this game and I have big expectations for where it can take me.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On the field, I am inspired by the San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams. He makes me feel good and confident about being an offensive lineman, especially playing the same position. I believe he’s the best offensive lineman of all time and I look up to his game in every way I can. He is a man with good sportsmanship and morals and that inspires me on and off of the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My 8th grade year (2024), I broke my arm right before spring practice started. I got the cast off and was cleared to play. Well, I broke it again on our first day in pads! Two broken arms 102 days apart. The day of my second surgery was team picture day and a pool party. As soon as I was released, I was there, in a sling for my team. Everyone was so happy to see me back. I decided that night, I would die for this game.
