Jacob has been doing karate since the age of 4, so this isn’t just a sport for him, it’s truly part of who he is. From the moment he stepped onto the mat, something clicked. His senseis called him "man-child" because of his discipline. He fell in love with the fun, focus and constant challenge to push himself further. Above and beyond that, he is always happy to meet and learn from his peers all across the world and has made lifelong friendships as a result of this passion of his.
On the mat, he is inspired by his great senseis & enjoys mastering new techniques, setting goals, and challenging his own limits. He looks up to his senseis and teammates who push him to be better in his growing skills and mindset. Off the mat, he carries strong values (focus, respect, and resilience) with him. He’s inspired by his family and always shows discipline and respect with his parents, family and at school. He’s also become someone who is looked up to by his little sister and cousins.
We’re proud of the martial artist & young man our son is becoming. What stands out the most is not just his success, but his character. He wins with humility and faces losses with grace, always learning and growing. His passion and dedication inspire not only us, but also his peers and senseis. It’s incredible to see him pursue what he loves with such heart and integrity.
